Sports & nature
Cape Town is home to many nature reserves in and around town. These include national parks run by SANParks and reserves that are run by CapeNature. Some reserves are open to the public and others with facilities have entrance fees. The closest park is the famous 28 898 hectare Table Moutain National Park that's the length of the peninsular mountains and stretches from Signal Hill and overlooks Table Bay to Cape Point and is one of the official New7Wonders of Nature. Table Mountain has a range of activities and is popular for hiking, mountain bikes trails, fynbos, picnics and views. Some prefer to take the cable car up, relax and enjoy a meal or refreshment and some prefer burning some calories and braving the hike up. There are a couple of places that offer food and drinks on the mountain top, they include snacks, ice creams and special dinners.
The Mother City Cape Town is the best place as the sun goes down with an excellent and wide variety of restaurants, pubs and clubs. There is something for everyone from laid back lounges with relaxing music to loud bars. Restaurants and bars stay open till late and the clubs open from around 10 pm. Long Street is a very vibey and funky street in Cape Town City, it can get very loud in the evenings with the many bars and restaurants it hosts. During the day is bustling with all kinds of shops ranging from clothing to consumables.
